About Me

From an early age, I have been fascinated by technology and quickly became the go to "techie" in my family when someone needed advice, support, or honestly anything else pertaining to tech. I built my own desktop in eighth grade, and my love for all things software and hardware quickly snowballed from there. I started building systems for others, and would constantly watch YouTube videos to keep myself updated with the latest and greatest in the ever changing digital world. After high school, I decided to make my hobby into a career by pursuing a Bachelor's in Information Technology. I finished my Undergrad at Sierra College in Rocklin, Ca and then transferred to Sacramento State. From there I transferred to the University of Phoenix where I received my Bachelor's in Information Technology with an emphasis in Cyber Security. It was within my program at Sierra College where my interest in cyber security started to bloom, and while I was pursuing my Bachelor's, it continued to grow. As soon as I finished at UoP, I applied and was accepted to a Master's program at the University of Nevada, Reno, majoring specifically in Cyber Security. During that program I worked freelance, doing all sorts of IT related jobs like network set up and configuration, help desk support, procurement consulting, break/fix support, and a whole host of other jobs. I received my Master's in Cyber Security in May of 2022 from UNR, and have continued to work in a freelance capacity until I find a great opportunity to leverage my education and experience. I bring a diverse range of experience having done freelance IT Support, where the clients all have a massive range of different issues to solve, and am also an extremely dedicated and quick learner.
